DRIVEN | The Aston Martin DB5 Junior

Recently we invited some of the world’s leading automotive journalists to our headquarters at Bicester Heritage for the inaugural test drives of the Aston Martin DB5 Junior. Three DB5’s took to the track, two Juniors finished in Goodwood Green and Sierra Blue were joined by an original 1964 car supplied by Aston Martin, their beautifully styled bodywork by Carrozzeria Touring being showcased in both full and 66% scale.

The reviews are in and we are delighted to share their feedback with you …

“The little Aston is just such a lovely object that it’s impossible to resist poring over every last detail before moving anywhere.” – PistonHeads

“They are scaled down only in their size, the attention to detail is equal to that of the factories and teams that made the originals. Their characters are as big as the real thing.” – Car & Classic

“It’s the most fun I’ve had in a car, any car, for a long time, and I could keep going until the battery ran out.” – Motor1.com

The Aston Martin DB5 Junior is a strictly limited production run with just 1,059 cars being built worldwide, honouring the original production run of the DB5 between 1963 and 1965. Born out of a partnership between The Little Car Company and Aston Martin to produce an all-electric two-thirds scale version of the brand’s most iconic car. An official 3D scan of an original DB5 was used to ensure complete accuracy and authenticity, the DB5 Junior has been intricately handcrafted to include as much detail as possible from the original car.

Build slots are being reserved on a first-come-first-served basis, so please get in touch at sales@thelittlecar.co to enquire on the availability of the remaining build slots.
