Kam Chancellor, who plays with the Seattle Seahawks, has set impressive records and enjoyed many accomplishments with the team. Most of his success as a football player was related to his time at Matthew Fontaine Maury High School, where he honed his skills as a player while nurturing his ambitions. Anything called sport these days has only fueled his spirits.
In high school, he played as a team quarterback, where he displayed his athletic ability, which spread quickly and made him a person of interest to many other colleges. Kam Chancellor wanted to get his Human Development degree while building his football career. He enrolled at Virginia Tech. He joined the team and retained his quarterback position, but later signed as a corner kicker as days wore on. Not too long after that, he was tapped into playing as a starter. Until his retirement, Kam Chancellor retained the position and has proven himself as one.

After being recognized as the greatest starter of all time, breaking into the Virginia Tech national football team was one of the easiest accomplishments the Chancellor ever had. He joined the Seattle Seahawks after being selected by the team in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL draft. On June 2, 2010, he signed a four-year, $2 million contract with a $213,000 contract signing bonus. Kam made his debut with the team against the San Francisco 49ners and recorded his first tackle and fumble. His next game came in a tumbler against the New York Giants. He amassed seven combined tackles in top playing time. By the end of his rookie season, he had played in 16 games and had 23 total combined tackles,
The next season he played against the SanFrancisco 49ners and recorded 10 solo tackles, unfortunately his team lost to the infallible Giants in their next game. The Hawks ended their game in a win over the Arizona Cardinals, with Kam being a major contributor to that win after recording 5 combined tackles, 2 deflected passes and one interception. Kam’s celebration of this win was cut short as he also sustained a quadriceps injury in that game which later led to his absence from several other games. After healing from his injury, he played against the 49ers and recorded 10 solo tackles. By the end of the season, he played 15 games and totaled 97 combined tackles (75 solos), a career-high 13 passing deflections,The 2012 season was short for Kam, playing just two games against the New England Patriots and Detroit Lions, losing one and winning the other. After the next season, the Hawks couldn’t let Kam go and extended his contract for another four years. He began his new season with the team playing the 49ers and recorded 5 combined tackles, a pass and an interception. He soon had to face the Arizona Cardinals, recording 11 combined tackles (six solos), two pass deflections and one interception in a narrow win. Then his team had to face the New Orleans Saints to reach the next level this season, and they alarmed the world with their victory after Kam Chancellor had 14 combined tackles (four solos) and two passing deflections.
Kam started the next season in a game against the Green Bay Packers and he had a season-high 11 combined tackles. The Denver Broncos attacked the Hawks and asked for a Super Bowl XLVII game rematch. As always, Kam Chancellor did his best and kicked the Broncos into a corner as he completed 9 tackles, one interception, one forced fumble and a rematch, and 2 passes defended. With that win, he was selected to play in that season’s Pro Bowl. He faced the Carolina Panthers and recorded 9 solo tackles and an interception. The next Super Bowl competition, Super Bowl XLIX, wasn’t as nice for the Hawks as the previous one, they lost their championship title to the Patriots.
The next season was quite short for the star player as he requested new deals with the team. By mutual consent, Kam Chancellor faced the Packers in one game after missing two games earlier that season. He was named defensive team captain and played against the Detriot Lions with 47 tackles and two interceptions. In 2017, Kam Kanzler renewed a three-year contract with his team. Three months after the deal was sealed, he suffered a neck injury that kept him from his games throughout the season. Kam Chancellor is married to his longtime girlfriend Tiffany Lucy, and the two walked down the aisle sometime in July 2017. They don’t have children yet, but they make a perfect team. They are dedicated to helping children in the Hampton Roads and Seattle areas and together run the Kam Cares Foundation. In addition to being a supportive wife, Tiffany is also a fitness trainer and model working towards becoming a successful actress.
