He is also the founder and chairman of the Hennick Wealth Management Group, a private investment firm. Hennick was born in Toronto, Canada, on January 20, 1957. He attended the University of Toronto, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978. He then attended Osgoode Hall Law School, where he earned his law degree in 1981. Hennick began his career as a lawyer in Toronto, specializing in corporate and commercial law. In 1983, he founded Colliers International, a commercial real estate services company. Under his leadership, Colliers has grown to become one of the largest commercial real estate services companies in the world. In addition to his business interests, Hennick is also a philanthropist. He is a major donor to the University of Toronto, and has established the Jay S. Hennick Centre for Business and Law at the university. He is also a major donor to the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, and has established the Jay S. Hennick Chair in Pediatric Research at the hospital. As of 2021, Jay S.
