Spring Festivals

New Year's Day

Spring 1st

It's the beginning of a new year! Talking to certain villagers will net you some cash, mainly the adults of the town. The cash only happens once, so don't expect money the year after.

Cooking Contest

Spring 6th

Prepare your best dish and give it to Mr. Volkanon from 11:00-18:00. During the first year of the game, the contest shouldn't be too difficult, but once your into the 2nd year of the game, the contest gets hard. Most likely to win: Blossom
Must be ordered with Prince/Princess Points.

Bean TOSS Festival

Spring 10th

Try to get his by as many beans as possible while avoiding failed dishes. The more beans you get hit by, the more points each bean is worth. Green beans are worth 2pts each, brown beans are worth 10 pts, and the pink is a surprise! This game can be replayed in the trophy room.

Fishing frenzy contest

Spring 15th

Try and catch as many fish as you can in the time limit. Registration is from 11:00-18:00 with Mr. Volkanon. During the first year, the compitition shouldn't be much trouble, but from the 2nd year forward, the competition gets tough.

de-fluffing Festival

Spring 19th

Try and sheer as much wool off of a giant Wooly as you can in a given timelimit. The weapon you pick has different points value, but using one your accustomed to will probably net you more points. Every time a large wooly loses some wool, a wooly will enter the stage. When the large wooly is out of wool, a large wooly will come in with wool. This game can be replayed in the trophy room. Must be ordered with Prince/Princess Points.

Spring harvest Festival

Spring 28th

Bring your best crop to be judged against the other townspeople. Some tips for this festival is to bring in a spring crop that is a high level, the higher the level the more votes you will get. Also the difficulty to harvest (time it took to harvest) helps gain more votes. Giant crops are allowed. When you are doing the showcase, make sure you know the name of your crop and how to answer questions from the audience.

Summer Festivals

Beach day

Summer 1st

Dragon Lake is now open for swimming, except there is no swimming. What there is are bachelorettes in bikinis and bachelors without shirts on. Every time a bachelor or bachelorette enters Dragon Lake, they will enter their swim clothes.

Turnip Festival

Summer 11th

Must be ordered with Prince/Princess Points. Should be like Rune Factory 3. Throw a ball and try to hit as many turnips as possible to earn points. The more turnips you hit in a row, the more points you get per hit. White are worth 50, Pink are worth 100, and Gold are worth 600. This game can be replayed in the trophy room.

big catch contest

Summer 15th

Must be ordered with Princess Points. Self-explanatory title. Try and catch the largest you can in the time limit. Aim for getting Salmon, Yellowtail, Rockfish, or Tuna as they tend to be the largest fish.

Firefly Festival

Summer 19th

Watch the Fireflies with your chosen partner that has accepted your confession. This will be a unique type of date instead of the normal date in that location.

Buddy Battle

Summer 24th

Register two of your tamed monsters to duke it out in a battle royale. Last monster standing win. Monsters that heal won't be very useful here unless their attacks heal them. Have your monsters at a high friendship level and a high level to have a better chance of winning.

Summer harvest Festival

Summer 28th

Bring your best crop to be judged against the other townspeople. Make sure the crop is a crop grown in summer. You can net more points by having the crop be at a higher level or by competing with a crop that takes a while to grow (the more days the more points). Know your crops name, how long it took to grow, and be generous/competative during the question section, just not TOO generous.

Fall Festivals

Eating Contest

Fall 4th

Try to eat as many different foods for points in a given time limit. Cooked food nets more points than vegetables do. Aim for the cooked food/drinks, but if there aren't any, just go for the crops. This game can be replayed in the trophy room.

Valentine's Day

Fall 12th

Girl's give Cookies to the boy they like. You can also use the cookies you gain to give to someone you like, so it is a win-win situation.

FISH variety contest

Fall 15th

Try and catch the widest variety of fish that you can in the time limit. If you have all the lakes available, spend about an hour or two at each lake (Dragon Lake, Silver Lake, Autumn River, Keeno Lake, Sercerezo Lake). Deadline is between 17:00 and 18:00.

Handicraft Contest

Fall 19th

Create your best weapon/accessory and present it to Mr. Volkanon 11:00-18:00. The harder it is to create your equipment, the more points you get. It can also be a weapon pre-made, but you won't get the bonus points of handmade weapon.

White Day

Fall 25th

Guy's give the girl they like cookies. If you still have cookies from Valentine's day, I suggest to use them here as they are worth twice as much as when you gift someone on a normal day.

Autumn HArvest Festival

Fall 25th

Bring your best crop to be judged against the other townspeople. Make sure the crop is grown in autumn. Also, you get more points if the crop takes long to grow (the more days, the more it is worth) and if it is at a higher level than norma (2 or higher).

Winter Festivals

Turnip flurry

Winter 5th

You and several NPCs will be given a time limit to pick up as many turnips as possible and throw them at other Characters. This game can be replayed in the trophy room. Golden turnips are worth 500pts, so aim to get those before your opponents do. Failed dish stun your opponents if you throw it at them.

Quiz Contest

Winter 13th

You will be asked a variety of questions, which you will answer by walking into a square that represents your chosen answer. All questions are yes or no. This game has some wierd questions, so try your best. If you are ahead of everyone and only one person is around your score, just choose the answer that person picks (unless you know the answer). This game can be replayed in the trophy room.

squid Catch contest

Winter 15th

Try and catch as many squid as you can in the time limit. Squid are small in shadow but not extremely small, so look for small shadows when your fishing.

Christmas Festival

Spend time with the person who accepted your confession. This counts like a date except with different dialogue.

Winter harvest Festival

Winter 28th

Bring your best crop to be judged against the other townspeople. Make sure it is a crop grown in winter, the duration it took to harvest the crop is long, and that it is a higher level than 1. All this nets you more points.

New year's eve

Winter 30th

On this day, you get to just celebrate the entry of a new year with the citizens of Selphia. Not much to do here.
