Linneaus is a level 45 system, but there aren’t any powerful beasts to look out for in the snowy mountain area, so you can access it at any point throughout your adventure without having to worry about being attacked by any over-leveled creatures.

Once you land in the Frigid Mountains, you will want to start searching for a tall cacti called a Frigid Palm. The bloom on top can be harvested for High-Tensile Spidroin. There are plenty of these cacti-like plants in the snowy mountains of Linnaeus II, so you will be able to find more than enough there.

Where to Buy High-Tensile Spidroin in Starfield

You can also purchase High-Tensile Spidroin from vendors if you’re lucky, although they don’t often stock much of it (if they do at all), so it’s more efficient to harvest it yourself. It is still a worthwhile material to purchase if you happen to catch it on sale, though.

You can occasionally find High-Tensile Spidroin being sold at the following locations:

  • Jemison Mercantile in New Atlantis (Alpha Cetauri Star System)
  • Shepherd’s General Store in Akila (Cheyenne Star System)
  • UC Exchange in Cydonia (Sol Star System)

The vendor’s inventory rotates frequently, so you may be able to find High-Tensile Spidroin at other vendors, as well. If you can’t find it in a vendor’s stock list the first time, keep coming back every now and then and eventually you may be lucky enough to find it.

You may also be able to come across High-Tensile Spidroin hidden in master or expert-level chests throughout the galaxy.

What Can You Do With High-Tensile Spidroin in Starfield?

High-Tensile Spidroin is used to craft the level 3 Spacesuit Mods and level 3 Helmet Mods at a Research Lab. These items require you to have crafted both the level 1 and 2 Helmet and Spacesuit Mods, and you will also have to level up your Spacesuit Design Skill before you can craft them.
