Robert Vaughn was born on November 22, 1932 in New York City. Both of her parents were performers. Her father, Gerald Walter Vaughn, was a radio actor and her mother, Marcella Frances, was a stage actress. He has no known siblings and spent his childhood in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he lived with his grandparents.
His first film appearance was a minor role in the Epic Biblical film The Ten Commandments. As a famous actor, one of his most famous appearances was in The Young Philadelphians, shot in 1959. It earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor and a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture. In an illustrious career, he appeared in over 200 films, winning numerous awards and nominations, including an Emmy Award in 1978.

Robert Vaughn’s wife
In his youth, Robert Vaughn was charming andglamorous. He was the superstar who loved parties and threw ones that involved big names like Steve McQueen and Jake Nicholson. It was during one of these evenings that he met Kathy Ceaton, a beautiful lady aged thirteen. The age difference didn’t stop them from having a passionate adventure that lasted three years and shared homes in Surrey and Hollywood. The relationship ended badly as Kathy became pregnant and before the child was born and fatherhood Robert reportedly had an affair with his future wife, Linda Staab. In 1974, Robert Vaughn married Linda Staab, who was a model and actress. They remained married until his death.

There was a bit of uproar when Mathew Vaughn was born, as his mother, Kathy Ceaton, claimed he was the son of Robert Vaughn. The iconic actor for his part has categorically denied these claims, saying that in the 1970s, a court ruled that he was not Matthew’s biological father. He also said that, looking at the records, there would be DNA results to establish his argument. Asked about it a few years ago, Robert said he hadn’t seen the boy since he was a child and they hadn’t had any contact since.
Matthew made a name for himself in the film industry with his own works with his friend Guy Ritchie whom he met in 1995. Robert has children whom he recognizes as his own although they were adopted. A boy named Cassidy and a girl named Caitlin.

With a career spanning nearly six decades, it’s rather safe to assume that Robert Vaughn could have made a small fortune for himself, and he did. He had a net worth of $10 million. This is no small feat at all.

As the saying goes, death is a debt every man must pay. Robert Vaughn was no exception when he succumbed to the clutches of death on November 11, 2016 after a battle with acute leukemia. Vaughn’s manager speaking to the media said Mr Vaughn died with his family around him.
At the time of his death, Robert Vaughn was just 11 days away from his 84th birthday. He died at his home in Ridgefield, Connecticut. In the period since the announcement of his passing, tributes have been received from around the world, as befits an icon.
